It's 6.30pm on a Friday on a snowy Dartmoor in the throws of a blizzard. George and I think we must be mad but we agree to stick to our pre wedding photoshoot arrangement with Tom.
Ten minutes in one spot for some photographs...warm up in the car for ten mins...move to another location...another few clicks before we have to warm up again in the car. Believe me it's hard to look warm and loving in such conditions but boy am I glad the weather turned out the way it did because the photographs Tom has created with the backdrop of a dramatic Dartmoor are just brilliant and capture us as a couple down to a T!
Why did we do a pre wedding shoot?
Firstly because Tom had previously taken some photos of my headpieces at Exeter Castle wedding fair at the beginning of the year so I knew he was good, after seeing other shoots on his instagram i liked his style and thirdly because it is great practice for the big day! My fiance George already does wedding modelling so he was a dab hand but me! I wasn't quite so experienced.
The shoot may have been short and sweet but it was really good fun and a great dress rehearsal when we stolen away for a few minutes on the big day to take photos which will remain on our mantlepiece for many years to come!
