Claire Austin hails from South Devon and handmakes all of her pieces in her studio by the seaside.
Her collection started in 2012 when she made knitted winter headbands with roses and lace embellishments for Christmas presents. When spring came round the rose bases became lighter and the Rosey Posey floral headbands were born.
Claire soon fell in love with the wedding industry and focused her attention on bridal headwear. Learning her craft at The British Millinery School, she went on to learn how to make diamante headpieces.
Claire rebranded in the summer of 2016 and launched her exclusive bridal collection. Materials used in this collection mainly come from her trip to New York in the spring with the classic & timeless English style greatly influencing her work.
Her love for bespoke has never wavered and nothing makes her more overjoyed than to receive an email from a bride-to-be requesting a one off creation for their big day and taking them through the journey to create a beautiful piece to treasure forever. Please see Testimonials.
Claire debuted her new bridal collection on 9th February 2017 at The Artizan Gallery in Torquay, Devon to an invited audience. Get in touch to see which wedding fairs Claire will be exhibiting at this year.
Claire won Best Accessories at the South West Wedding Awards 2018.
